How do you create the best golf club in Yorkshire?

For us the clue is in the name; not the word “golf”, but the word “club”. Fulford Golf Club is first and foremost a club.

Like all clubs, it was formed when a group of individuals wanted to come together to share a common interest. Today you don’t need to join a club to play golf, but you do need to join a club to be part of a club and to have that togetherness that comes from a shared goal.

Golf was the catalyst for the formation of Fulford Golf Club, and it remains an important force that drives the Club’s existence. Without doubt, though, excellent golf is only part of the picture.

So what’s the rest of that picture? What else are we trying to achieve?

• To create a community of members, most of whom will enjoy playing golf, but all of whom will have the opportunity to socialise with family and friends
• To enable golfers of all abilities to visit and to experience something special when they choose to spend time with us
• To promote golf and to inspire the next generation of golfers, both by remembering the past and by looking to the future.

That’s why we want the time you spend with us to be a day to remember.
