The fairway narrows to the angle of this dog-leg right. A line down the right is dangerous: the copse at the corner is deeper than it looks, requiring a prodigious carry. It also blocks the second short from a shorter drive. Four bunkers down the left side of the fairway trap errant drives whilst the big hitters can be in danger of running out of fairway. A conservative, and accurate, tee shot will often allow a relatively easy iron shot into this large, sloped green. Take careful note of the pin position as you will need to choose a much different club if the flag is at the back.
